EMMA NOELLE
Biography
My name is Emily Singletary, I am branding myself as Emma Noelle. Here are some things you should know about me. I have a deep love for traveling and learning about other cultures. In total, I have been to 9 different countries outside the US and hope to visit more. I graduated from John Brown University with a BS in Graphic Design in May 2019. I am deeply inspired by the typography work of Jessica Hische and the goofy science illustrations by Rachel Ignotofsky. I get excited when people come to me with a design problem and ask me to help them solve it. As a graphic designer I hope to work in an environment that gives me the opportunity to widen my experience in design and problem solving surrounded by a solid positive team.
Here is the thing… Even though I feel confident in my skills as a designer, I realize I still have so much to learn. The projects displayed on this website are me in progress, at times this scares me. I fall into the deep pit of comparison as I look around at the amazing works of artists both older and younger than me. Then I remind myself that in the end we are all beautiful messes, every single artist (and non-artist) is a giant imperfect mess. With this, I remember that I will always be a student and will continue to learn and explore how to improve my design skills and knowledge.
